This is a new, aftermarket replacement fuel shut-off solenoid.  It is designed for Daedong engines found in Mahindra compact tractors.

Fuel shut-off solenoids are wear items then need to be replaced over time.  Debris and exposure to the elements eventually impact performance.  Fuel shut-off solenoids have a valve that opens and closes to control fuel flow.  If the valve operation is impaired, the control over the flow of fuel will deteriorate.  You may notice your engine is hard to start or idles roughly.
