Starter, STR-S750
This is a new aftermarket replacement starter, 12v, 9 tooth. It is an offset gear reduction style which is smaller and lighter weight than old direct drive starters. It is more efficient and a better design than the original direct drive style starter. A lighter weight starter reduces stress on the flywheel ring gear. Offset gear reduction starters spin faster, so startup is easier on the engine. Please note the appearance may vary from the original OEM direct drive starter. Offset gear reduction starters do not have nose cones. Sealed noseless housing configuration minimizes debris accumulation and contamination reducing maintenance expense.
